Jive Attic is a professional, energized, 5-piece Party and Dance Band. Based in South Burlington, VT, Jive Attic rocks it's audiences with great Party and Dance songs from the Funk, Rock, Soul, R&B, and Blues genres. Jive Attic's five musicians include 3 vocalists, 2 guitars, keys, harmonica, bass, percussion and drums. These guys bring an extensive catalog of classic Party songs to life with their own blend of chops, tone, attitude and inspiration. Jive Attic has had a very active gigging schedule for several years. We've been in the regular band rotations at the Lincoln Inn in Essex, and Charlie O's in Montpelier. We've also had repeat gigs at Jay Peak, Matterhorn, On Tap, Nectars, Nightcrawler's, Club Metronome, Monkey House, Backstage Pub, Breakwaters, private parties; and the former Edgewater Pub and Sami’s Harmony Pub.
Jive Attic has truely high-end, state of the art PA equipment to deliver the sounds you want to hear with perfect fidelity. All of our instruments are miked through an audiophile-grade Mackie 1604 mixing board, which then feeds our audiophile-grade PA system, consisting of top-of-the-line JBL and QSC speakers. What this means to the listener is, at any volume--soft or loud--our sound is delivered with crystal clear clarity. There is a perfect balance of all the instruments. There is never an annoying 'blur' of sound like you may hear with a budget-priced PA system. With Jive Attic, you WILL hear our pulse pounding music reproduced with great clarity, perfectly mixed for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
